Guest Book
Great location with Hotel Canaletto and very stylish with excellent facilities.
The staff was helpful and charming and the breakfast included in the price
was impressive! We were only planning to stay 2 days in Venice, but considering
how amazing it is to see, we decide to remain a further day and night
as we were bang in time for the Carnevale, and also because we were thoroughly
enjoying our stay in this lovely three star hotel.
Hotel Canaletto was a little hard to find for us but was worth it as we
enjoyed a very hospitable welcome and service throughout. Our room was,
perhaps surprisingly, quite spacious and had a marble floor. Was also
very clean with lovely décor. Thoroughly impressed, and this contributed
to our memorable and enjoyable stay in Venice. Hotel Canaletto was in
a quiet back street, but still just a few minutes from St Marks square
and overall a perfectly located central accommodation. Would recommend.
We were delighted with our choice of Hotel Canaletto. Our room seemed
huge, probably to what we had expected by European standards. The room
was also very clean and had all of the amenities one would expect and
more besides. Though still a St Mark’s hotel, The Canaletto was
located in quieter area, in amongst the back streets, but still very close
to the tourist spots including St. Mark's Square. The staff were lovely
and very helpful.
For a three star hotel in Venice, we were very pleased with the Canaletto
Hotel. Other guests we spoke to seemed to have found the hotel hard to
find, but we found it without any problem. It was slightly further back
than some St Marks Hotels but was perfectly located as still no distance
at all from St Marks Square etc and in its own quaint little square. The
staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was beautiful and immaculately
prepared with a lovely view. Breakfast was included and was excellent
in quality and choice. We would definitely recommend Hotel Canaletto and
would definitely return ourselves in the future.
The Hotel Canaletto was really great for its three star rating. Room
very clean and spacious and nicely decorated in the Venetian style. Lovely
bathroom too with clean bath and shower. All in all, very impressed and
very happy with choice of Hotel Canaletto. The hotel was a little harder
to find than some, with being a bit further through the streets and canals
off St Marks Square, but still only a few minutes from all the places
to go, and in a nice quiet ‘calle’.
Was more than happy with Hotel Canaletto. Although hard to find at first,
found the hotel to be in an ideal location, in a nice quiet-ish spot,
and just a few minutes walk in either direction from the Rialto Bridge
and St Marks Square. The rooms looked good and very clean on closer inspection
- nicely decorated and quite big too. Staff pleasant and friendly and
spoke good English. Overall, a good value hotel and definitely recommended.
