Q. What time is check-in and out?
A. Check In is from 2pm, Latest check Out is 11am.

Q. Is the price quoted per room or per person?
A. The price is per room per night.

Q. Is breakfast included in the price?
A. Prices are inclusive of tax, and breakfast. A continental-style buffet breakfast is available to guests each morning.

Q. Are the rooms air-conditioned?
A. Air conditioning is available in all rooms, can be controlled remotely, and is included in the price.

Q. Can the reception/staff speak English?
A. Our staff is multilingual and can communicate in English, German, French and Spanish if necessary.

Q. Are there rooms available for smokers?
A. Yes, Hotel Canaletto will try to accommodate this though it may pay to arrange in advance.

Q. Is there a restaurant in the Property?
A. Unfortunately there is no restaurant on-site at this time, although there is a restaurant in very close proximity with many other fine eateries in St Mark’s, all within easy walking distance from Hotel Canaletto

Q. Is the hotel easy to find from our landing point in Venice?
A. Yes, although some beg to differ! The hotel is considered slightly more off the beaten track compared to some, although it is noted the hotel is in a lovely, quiet square of its own, and still within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions.

Q. Do the rooms have balconies?
A. No.

Q. Are the rooms private and secure?
A. Yes, all rooms are private, quiet and secure at Hotel Canaletto.

Q. Is there television available in the rooms and is satellite TV provided?
A. All rooms have televisions with satellite TV. Pay per View is also available to guests.

Q. Is there a direct dial telephone in the rooms?
A. Yes, available in all rooms.

Q. Can you access the internet/e-mail from the Hotel?
A. Yes, an internet point/connection is available for usage by guests.

Q. Is parking available for cars?
A. No. Car access and parking is available a short distance away in Piazzale Roma, but not in St Marks.

Q. Is car rental available?
A. Yes, again, in Piazzale Roma.

Q. Which is the nearest airport?
A. Venice’ Marco Polo is approximately 12km’s from Hotel Canaletto. Transport to and from the airport can be arranged from the Rialto Bridge.

Q. Where is the nearest railway station?
A. The nearest train station is Santa Lucia station, approximately 1km from Hotel Canaletto with the nearest metro available 5 minutes walk from the hotel, at the Rialto Bridge.

Q. Where can we arrange water taxis/gondola?
A. Excursions can be arranged via the Hotel Canaletto front reception although public transport can be found by heading to the waterfront area at St Mark’s Square.

Q. Can Hotel Canaletto help arrange our trips/excursions?
A. Yes, our friendly and helpful staff will be happy to try to arrange and accommodate all guests’ requests, including booking trips and excursion, and providing information and advice.

Q. What is the water-based public transport system?
A. The ‘Vaporetto’ station can be found at the waterfront of St Marks Square, located 10 minutes walk from Canaletto Hotel.
